Pet Boarding
Boarding your pet in my East Village home for overnight stays. I work from home, so pet care is fully integrated into my life. I take dogs on several walks a day and go once to the park or dog run. I generally leave the apartment once a day for a fitness class, shopping and/or brief event. For reviews and more information, see here.
I offer pets:
~ lots of attention and regular massages/belly rubs during the day (I work from home and was a professional massage therapist in a previous career, with canine training)
~ solo care (no other pets during their stay)
~ walks every few hours, including once to the park daily and dog run if you like
~ experience with seniors and special medical needs/diets
~ regular connection with you, via daily photo/text updates
~ a calming, plush large dog bed (in addition to any you'd like to bring from home)
~ animal entertainment videos when I go out
~ oral hygiene chew and soothing music before bed
~ optional spa day with bath and teeth brushing (extra fee)
Barking: Please note that if your dog barks while inside the home (either while playing, to guard against people walking outside the apartment door, or due to separation anxiety while I'm out for up to 4 hours max, I unfortunately will not be able to board them. I have sensitive neighbors and want/need to respect their peace. Thank you and apologies to all the wonderful dogs who bark!
